
The annual Age, Gender and Diversity Participatory Assessment Final Workshop, organized by UNHCR Representation in Bulgaria, took place 5-6 November 2019 in Panagyurishte. The workshop gathered representatives of public institutions and NGOs working on refugee integration in Bulgaria. During the two-day event, participants heard from Mr Mathijs le Rutte, UNHCR Representative in Bulgaria about the UNHCR Strategic Priorities in the Area of Protection and Solutions for 2020. Ms Emiliya Bratanova van Harten and Ms Iva Partsaleva, UNHCR, presented the key findings of the 2019 Age, Gender and Diversity Participatory Assessment. Workshop discussions focused on identifying critical issues and recommendations for improvement through new interventions in key policy areas on refugee integration. S. Gabova from SDA took part in the workshop and presented the lessons learned and good practices from INTEGRA. The project focus on cities as agents of integration at local level is especially important for exploring new models of involving refugees and migrants in the decision-making process and development of city integration strategies.




01.11.2019 – 30.11.2019 - Integration Centre Prague continues promotion of the podcast series through various media channels and continues with dissemination of the PhotoVoice zines and website (https://photovoice.icpraha.com/en/home/) in cooperation with the ICP terrain workers and volunteers.
05.11.2019 – 06.11.2019 – Sofia Development Association takes part in and presents the lessons learned and good practices from INTEGRA at the annual Age, Gender and Diversity Participatory Assessment Final Workshop, organized by UNHCR Representation in Bulgaria.
07.11.2019 - Centre for Peace – Osijek presents a part of their online campaign „Quotation“ - quotes by well-known writers and philosophers. Production of viral material with suitable pictures and quotations.
09.11.2019 – Sofia Development Association takes part in the official ceremony of the establishment of the Association of the Africans and their friends in Bulgaria.
10.11.2019 – RISSC publishes a part of their online campaign in cooperation with The Municipality of Rubano. The infographics that show the best practices assessed in the framework of the INTEGRA project, namely SPRAR - Sistema di protezione per richiedenti asilo e rifugiati (the protection system for asylum seekers and refugees) are being spread through social media.
11.11.2019 – RiskMonitor presents INTEGRA project and creative tools at a round table, organized by the student club of the political science program at Sofia University.
13.11.2019 - Centre for Peace – Osijek presents a part of their online campaign „Fammous immigrants“ - reminders of famous immigrants and their contributions to their new countries. Production of creative viral materials.
14.11.2019 – Sofia Development Association organizes INTEGRA DAY 2019 in partnership with IOM Bulgaria on the occasion of the Refugee Month where people from different nationalities will play together on musical instruments.
14.11.2019 - Integration Centre Prague publishes the final episode of the podcast series: Salad Bowl of Prague: Voices. The episode nb. 5 will introduce Integration Centre Prague, the INTEGRA project, the podcast authors and the "behind the scenes" of the whole series which was created as a part of the INTEGRA campaign. 15.11.2019 – Sofia Development Association conducts a Final evaluation meeting with the INTEGRA Stakeholder Group where it will be discussed what has been achieved so far during the project, the implementation of policies and practices for the integration of third-country nationals as well as what measures and actions lay ahead.
20.11.2019 – Sofia Development Association takes part in a seminar organised by the Foundation Access to Rights in Sofia for representatives of state and non-governmental organizations on new changes in the legal and administrative procedures regarding stateless persons.
20.11.2019 – ETP Slovakia publishes the illustrated map "New Neighbour Welcome Kit", which contains basic information about Košice and useful adresses of public institutions, language schools, embassies, minority communities, NGOs helping with integration. It will primarly target new foreigners trying to settle in Košice.
21.11.2019 - Centre for Peace – Osijek presents a part of their online campaign „Infographic“ - showing different interesting data compared in simple, colourful way. Production of creative viral material.
21.11.2019 - Centre for peace, nonviolence and human presents INTEGRA project activities to the students of Academy for Arts and Culture Osijek.
22.11.2019 - ETP Slovakia introduces the new online web site for foreigners, which is developed in partnership with Košice Municipality Office. The website is the first online information point in Košice for foreigners established by the local government.
26.11.2019 - ETP Slovakia publishes a "video-invitation" in web&social networks to visit various restaurants, bistros or cafes (owned by foreigners) listed in the illustrated map "Bon Apetit, Neighbor". ETP believs encourages locals not only to taste new international cousine but also to interact with the owners, waitress or cooks, to know their personal stories or just find out how is their new life in Košice.
26.11.2019 - Integration Centre Prague conducts a Final SIG meetign during which it will be discussed what has been achieved so far during the project, the implementation of policies and practices for the integration of third-country nationals as well as what measures and actions lay ahead.
27.11.2019 - Centre for Peace – Osijek publishes a Quiz, which consists of simple questions about INTEGRA project in online form or app.
27.12.2019 – RiskMonitor gives out '"The uknown" card game to the Sofia Literature and Translation House.
30.11.2019 - RISSC publishes a part of their online campaign in cooperation with The Municipality of Rubano. A short video-storytelling about Integra Days in Rubano is being spread through social media.
